THROW THEM ALL OUT!
October 3rd, 2008 | by admin |The House just passed the bailout bill. I’m furious. This thing was chalked full of millions of dollars worth of earmarks and still forces American taxpayers to come up with $700 billion to fund the mistakes of a rotten, broken Congress that not only failed to properly oversee this mess on the Financial Services Committee, but actually enabled Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac to offer these high risk loans. Not to mention the fact that it doesn’t really fix the problems, it patches them. We need a new dam, not a piece of bubble gum to cover up a leak.
Thanks to failed financial institutions and the irresponsibility of both lenders and borrowers hard working responsible Americans who didn’t make mistakes now get to pay for everyone else’s mistakes.
IT’S TIME TO THROW OUT ALL THE FOLKS IN CONGRESS THAT LET THIS HAPPEN - AND THEN DECIDED TO STEAL FROM US IN AN UNPRECEDENTED DISPLAY OF GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION IN THE FREE MARKET.
